Certified Chronnoisseur Introductory Course:
The Certified Chronnoisseur Introductory Course & Exam is the first of four required steps to become a Master Chronnoisseur . The program is given over a two day period with candidates receiving intensive review, instruction and training by a team of Master Chronnoisseur’s on cannabis flower, edible, concentrate knowledge, proper cannabis service, and blind tasting. The program ends on the second day with the Introductory Chronnoisseur Exam, a multiple choice theory exam consisting of 50 questions. The intent of the Certified Introductory Chronnoisseur Course is to provide cannabis industry professionals with a thorough view into the world of cannabis flower, edibles, and concentrates at the highest professional standards.
A common misunderstanding:
Completing the Introductory Chronnoisseur Course and passing the test does not mean one can call themselves a “Master Chronnoisseur.” To use this designation you must complete the Certified Master Chronnoisseur examination.
Preparation:
The Introductory Chronnoisseur Course & Exam is open to all cannabis professionals interested in pursuing the highest standards of cannabis service and product knowledge. Candidates come from cultivation, wholesale and retail backgrounds.
The Introductory Chronnoisseur Course & Exam is also a prerequisite for the Certified Chronnoisseur Examinations, which includes a written theory exam, a blind tasting exam and a practical cannabis use exam. Candidates have three years after passing the Introdcutory Sommelier Exam to sit the Master Chronnoisseur Certified Exam or the candidate must re-take the two-day Introductory Course at the reduced rate of $125.
