The Hideout, a new speakeasy in Costa Mesa, located on the corner of Placentia and Victoria, behind 2145 – the Japanese Pizza Hut, was the hub of the underground Cannabis Trade Show Festivities last weekend. An event carefully curated by TheChronn.com, a platform at the forefront of finding the best weed in the world, the pop-up headlined with special guest – rapper, comedian- AFROMAN.

Featuring various up and coming Kings of TheChronn.com you came touch, smell and get a taste for the local produce that leading California cannabis farms are pioneering with, to the newest frontier in the marketplace.

With products like CBD flooding the streets out of nowhere, this was the show to meet and speak to the farmers growing it on our doorstep.

One particular farm, located in Lake Arrowhead, whose CBD is 100% Organic and bound to a high quality grade of glycerine broke down the science of farming, harvesting and extracting the CBD compounds vs. THC from the plants.

“I want something that is going to relax me and make me laugh, but I want a good nights sleep and to wake up with energy.” One lady told a merchant from Temecula, who listens to your goals then invites you to smell the popparie of his products. He had something for everyone, including stickers, and all sorts of social media marketing going on; you can follow, tag, share, gram and snap him @imdavesbud.

If a custom glass blown bong is what you need, here is where you could design and watch them create one in front of you. Another stall tied an artisan bow around their goods and handed out specialty jam jars, along with business cards, to capture the aroma of their samples at home. Other traders featured tinctures and trinkets, informing new customers on the benefits of cannabis, previously only available to patients with a prescription.

DJ True Haze and a select collection of industry talent including Solag Vibrations performed while the guests mozzied. The evening was built towards the arrival of the dazzling AfroMan who came out with a diamond encrusted goblet to toast and mingle with his guests before getting on stage to perform. Stoking the crowd with his chronically funny humor and some of his popular songs like “Smoke Marijuana” and “Because I Got High” … AfroMan was a blazing hit!
